About Us

We are a handmade soy wax candle business in Oxford, MA.  We are based out of New England  in the United States with a passion for candles and inspiration.    

Always wanting to run my own business, the idea to start French River Candle Co all began when someone asked me "how many candles I owned".  The answer came a few moments later after looking into my candle cabinet...."over 40".  It wasn't until that one question, that I really understood my passion for setting the tone of my house season by season.  And I just knew that others had to feel the same way about their own places.

You see, candles are more than just decoration.  There is something very special about the nostalgic scents and ambient atmosphere that they create.  Our candles do just that.  So we want to thank you for allowing us to bring the same to your home that is in ours.  Add an inspirational quotes on your label for someone who needs it and you have a wonderful gift.
