 We use 100% natural cocnut/soy wax that is grown and produced in the U.S.  This makes the candles eco-friendly and made from renewable and sustainable materials grown by American farmers.

While paraffin wax is refined from crude oil, soy wax is made from soybeans- a completely renewable resource grown here in the US. Compared to paraffin, soy wax burns cleaner with no petrol-carbon soot. Soy wax also burns slower than paraffin, so soy wax candles also last longer. 

Your candle's wick should always be at 1/4".  This prevents the flame from getting too large and the candle to burn too quickly.

After being lit the first time, your candle's wooden wick should be trimmed to around 1/8".  Getting rid of the charred pieces will help it stay lit.  Remember, just like a bon fire, you need fresh wood to get the fire started.

You should burn your candle for at least one hour but no longer than four.  Letting it burn for an hour ensures the wax melts all the way to the container.  This prevents "tunneling" or uneven melted wax pools.  Did you know candles have memory?  When we burn them consistently each time, they burn better, longer, and the scent is maximized.
